An offer of video chat free coins is easier to judge once you separate the balance from what it buys. GoLive's published welcome offer is 200 coins, but a welcome number can be perfectly clear while the cost of a feature, your eligibility or the next purchase still needs checking. Of 18 ranking chat pages we reviewed in October 2026, 7 talked about coins or credits and only 1 showed a dollar price.
Many pages that rank for this search are apps advertising their own coins, plus videos promising “unlimited” or generated coins. Start with an offer you can verify on the operator's own site.
Start with the offer you can verify
GoLive's official free-coins page (updated October 26, 2026, retrieved October 28, 2026) states the following about its welcome offer:
- New users receive 200 coins at registration.
- The bonus is added to the balance right away, with no payment and no card required.
- It is given once per new account; GoLive says creating extra accounts to collect bonuses breaks its Terms of Service and leads to a ban.
- Coins do not expire while the account is active, and are lost if the account is deleted.

GoLive also describes access in a browser without installation, with an optional Android app. The service is for adults aged 18 and older. That is the published welcome amount, not a price list, a call length or an unlimited allowance.
What a coin balance tells you
A coin is a unit inside one particular service. “200 coins” tells you how many units you start with. It does not tell you how many conversations, minutes or other activities that balance supports, because that depends on what each feature costs.
GoLive's public pages do not state how many coins a 1v1 call or other feature costs; its answer is to check the conditions shown in the service. So find the cost of the activity you intend to try inside the service, and use that stated rate rather than one from another app, a video or an old screenshot.
| Published by GoLive | Still check in the service |
|---|---|
| 200 coins at new registration | Which features spend the balance, and how fast |
| No card required for the bonus | Prices and currency of any coin purchase |
| Once per new account | Eligibility shown to your account |
| No expiry while the account is active | What happens to purchased coins under the refund policy |
Work out what the balance buys, without invented numbers
Use the rate the service shows you, not a figure from another page. The method is simple:
- Note your balance after the bonus arrives, for example the 200 coins GoLive describes.
- Open the feature you want and read its stated cost, per minute or per action.
- Divide the balance by that cost to see how much of that feature the bonus covers.
- Repeat for any other feature you plan to use, since rates can differ.
If the cost is not shown before you start, stop and ask the provider. We do not publish a coins-to-minutes figure for GoLive because GoLive does not publish one.
Compare the conditions that affect value
Use the same questions for every welcome offer you consider:
Eligibility. Who can receive it, and how often? A new-user bonus is not a recurring allowance.
Use. Which activities can spend the balance? Read the conditions for the feature you want rather than assuming one rate covers everything.
Timing. Does the provider state an expiry? GoLive says its coins do not expire while the account is active; other apps may differ, so look for an explicit answer.
Purchases. Before buying more, check the displayed amount, currency and total, and any recurring payment terms. Decide your limit before you reach a confirmation screen.
Scams. GoLive states that coin generators, hacks and “unlimited coins” tricks are scams that often steal accounts. CISA's advice applies directly: resist links that seem too good to be true and report them instead (CISA: Recognize and Report Phishing). If you were tricked, USA.gov's questionnaire finds the right agency for your report (USA.gov: where to report a scam), and its identity-theft page explains what to do if account or card details were taken (USA.gov: identity theft). The FBI's IC3 accepts complaints from anyone affected by an internet crime (IC3 FAQ).
What one reviewer says about buying premium
GoLive's Android app showed 4.6 stars from 97 ratings on Google Play when we checked on October 29, 2026. This visible review calls the app “absolutely free” and, in the same breath, mentions paying for premium:
"really good app, I give 5 stars. absolutely free random video chat with girls. I have a lot of dialog with people's around the world. I hope I can find a wife here. I bought a premium and recommend all new users for faster connection"
app android, 5 out of 5 stars, May 8, 2025, on Google Play
That is one person's experience of the Android app. It shows why a welcome balance and paid extras should be judged separately. For the conversation format itself, compare video chat with strangers and random video chat separately from the balance.
A practical welcome-offer check
Read the official offer and confirm the service name.
Check the balance, then the cost of your feature.
Read terms, refund policy and the final total.
Before registration. Read the official offer and confirm it describes the service you intend to use. Similar names do not make two apps interchangeable.
After the bonus arrives. Check that the balance appears in your account; GoLive says it is shown next to the coin icon. Then read the cost of the feature you plan to use.
Before a purchase. Review the provider's current terms, refund policy and the final confirmation. A welcome credit is not an instruction to buy a pack. If a cost is unclear, ask the provider first.

Choose your next step
If browser entry and a registration welcome balance match what you are looking for, review GoLive's current offer. Decide whether to continue once you understand the conditions of the feature you want. Still choosing a format? Browse chat formats first. Starting with the conversation you want makes it easier to decide whether any particular welcome offer is useful to you. If meeting someone new is the goal, our guide to free video chat with strangers covers the entry steps first.

Frequently asked questions
Are GoLive's 200 coins really free?
GoLive states the 200-coin welcome bonus is added to every new account with no payment and no card required. Paid features and coin purchases are separate, so check their conditions before using them.
How do I get the welcome coins?
According to GoLive, you register a new account and confirm you are 18 or older. The bonus is then added to your balance right away.
Can I get the 200 coins again with a second account?
No. GoLive says the bonus is given once per person and that creating multiple accounts to collect bonuses violates its Terms of Service and leads to a ban.
Do the coins expire?
GoLive states that coins never expire while your account is active. They are tied to the account and are lost if you delete it.
How many coins does a video call cost?
GoLive's public pages do not publish a per-call or per-minute rate. Check the conditions shown in the service for the feature you want before using it.
How many minutes do 200 coins give me?
That cannot be calculated without the feature's stated cost. Be wary of any page that converts coins to minutes without citing the operator.
Are coin generators or hacks real?
No. GoLive says any site or video promising unlimited free coins is a scam that often steals accounts, and free coins come only from the operator's own offers.
Can I buy more coins?
GoLive refers to coin purchases and a refund policy. Check the displayed price, currency and terms before confirming any purchase.
What happens to purchased coins if I delete my account?
GoLive says coins are lost when an account is deleted. It adds that unused purchased coins are handled under its refund policy.
Do I need to download an app to get free coins?
Not for GoLive, according to its pages. It states that the browser version works on phones and computers, with an optional Android app.
Is a welcome bonus the same as a free subscription?
No. A welcome bonus is a one-time balance; it is not a recurring allowance, and it does not make every feature free.
Does HelloRoute give out coins?
No. HelloRoute is an independent editorial guide. Coins, balances and purchases are handled only by the provider.
